LENTICULAR EFFECTS:

The lenticular process can create a variety of effects for use with your promotion. To better understand these effects, we have broken them down into four main categories:

eyelogoFlips:

Flip from one image to another on the same piece! Flip allows two pictures called "phases" or "frames" to be printed on one item. As the product is moved, the visible picture changes from one image to the other. Horizontal lenticular lenses focus on one or the other image as the view shifts from top to bottom.
Common art elements may be included in both frames so they are always visible.

Two Image Flips
Flips allow the display of two images in the same space.  These are great for "before and after" promotions, or displaying multiple products or messages.  The two image flip is the most widely used lenticular effect and easiest to create.  Simply submit your two desired images after consulting our “Art Tips” for helpful hints on designing Flip artwork.

Three Image Flips
Same as a two image flip, just one more image.  These are great for sequential imaging with a common background (as shown), or display three entirely different images.

eyelogo3-D:

Add dimension to your message with realistic 3-D depth and shape. 3-D takes advantage of the fact that we have two eyes that see everything from a slightly different perspective (parallax) to create the illusion of 3-D With 3-D lenticular, the image is constructed so that a different version or view of the print is visible through the lens to each eye. This allows your brain to register what your eyes are seeing as 3-D depth. The rows of lenticular lens must be aligned vertically.

3-D Effect

Elements within an image are layered to give the illusion of depth and perspective. Unlike flat 2-dimensional images, the 3D effect allows objects in your design to appear to be forward, middle, and back giving realistic depth to your message.  Supply layered files after consulting our “Art Tips for helpful hints on designing 3D art, and we’ll do the rest.

eyelogoAnimations:

View multiple images to simulate transformation, motion, or animation. Motion/Morph/Zoom effects are similar to flips, but use more than two pictures or "frames" arranged in a sequential order to create the illusion of movement (Motion), transformation (Morph), or an image increasing or decreasing in size (Zoom). Generally, a common background is used with only certain elements changing in each frame.

Zoom
Bring immediate attention to the most important part of your message by making it appear to leap out to the prospect.  Zoom works to magnify, from small to large highlighting your product, message or logo.

Motion
Lenticular motion is like watching a small movie. Provide us with a sequence of images, or a move clip (.mov, .avi, etc.) and we'll convert it into an eye-catching animation.

Morph
Watch one image suddenly turn into another with a morph effect. Simply provide two images to morph from one to the other, or provide each phase of the morph effect yourself and we'll turn it into a lenticular print.

eyelogoCombinations:

3D, Motion, Morph, Flip and Zoom effects can be combined into a single lenticular piece.

Combination Effect

In this example the 3-D effect has been combined with a flip, which produces a 3-D image in which elements suddenly
change. Many combinations are possible, please consult with an
AwesomeEye® product specialist to discuss your desired effect.
